MEAT
In satem languages in this word after an initial "M" there always appears a nasal sound either "en", "an" or "am".
In Romance languages the Indo-European word for meat has been lost, but it was kept in the names of a "butcher" and a "slaughterhouse" namely "macellārius" and when transformed to "masellārius" it creates a word for meat that is "mase". That S instead of K is still present in Romansch as "mazler".
Old Armenian "միս (mis)", Albanian "mish" and Tocharian B "misa" could all suggest the appearance of this word as "mis" during the earliest Indo-European migrations and connected to R1b haplogroup. Then those R1b males travelled to Ireland and S was changed to R creating "mir". Just like Proto-Germanic ending of the nominative "-as" "-az" changed to "-ar" and then to "-R". This is a very similar case to that of HEART or HUNDRED in Lycian, Tocharian and Celtic languages.
